This project is built on the insight that school teachers are an audience seeking fast but nutritious dinner options, but feel somewhat alienated by the main direct-to-consumer meal kit players (Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, etc.). Having a long-standing relationship with schools across the country, Revolution Foods was eager to develop a product geared toward this "hungry" audience.
We partnered with Ideo to develop the meal kit concept, and Barrel to build the e-commerce platform. I collaborated during the concept stage, giving input on the idea. However, my key function was to implement this product concept in partnership with our internal team (Brand Director, Executive Chef, Innovation Director, etc.). I helped define the user flow, message hierarchy, and key messaging on how the product functioned. Namely, I led the evolution of the packaging form factor and design, and designed all of the marketing collateral for a series of pop up events. I also led the art direction for our food photography (packaging, marketing) in partnership with photographer Rose Hodges.
